Biography

Born in 1972 in Skopje, Republic of Macedonia.
Graduates from the Faculty of Fine Arts, Skopje, major Painting with Conservation and Restoration and Hand Made Paper (1997).
He completes his specialty studies in Painting at the Musashino Art University, Tokyo, Japan (2000/2001). In 2001 he enrols in a master course of visual communication design at Joshibi University of Art and Design, Kanagawa, Japan. He graduates the MA course at the same university in 2003 on the subject: Promotion of Recycling Paper in Education and Social Activities.

Work Experience

In the period between 2002 and 2003 he works as an assistant on the subject  Design Concept at Joshibi University of Art and Design, Kanagawa, Japan.  After his return in Macedonia he works as creative art director at the marketing agency Grey Worldwide during the period of 2003-2006. During 2006 and 2007 works as an art director at the graphic design and architecture studio Bee Creative Solutions.
He starts teaching as Assistant Professor at the European University – Republic of Macedonia – Faculty of Art and Design in September 2007 on the subjects: Painting Techniques 1 and 2; Poster and Package Design; Book and Illustration Design.

Exhibitions and publications

He participates in numerous one-man and group exhibitions in the country and abroad and carries out many project in the field of graphic design.

Awards and Recognition

  • 1999 - University of St. Cyril and Methodius award for the best achievements at the Faculty of Fine Arts
  • 2002 - Yoneyama Rotary Club - member by scholarship
  • 2002 - Honorable student at Joshibi University of Art and Design, Kanagawa, Japan.
