Savica Dimitrieska was born on 2nd of November, 1970 in Gevgelija. She graduated (BSc) in 1993, at the Faculty of Economics at the "St. Cyril and Methodius" University in Skopje, Department - Marketing and Foreign Trade. She finished the studies with a very high grade and was proclaimed as "The Best Student in Generation". In January 2000, she received an MSc degree on the Faculty of Economics, defending the Master Thesis "Motivation and Work Behavior". In the course of 2001 and 2002, she continued her studies in the USA, at the University of Chicago – Illinois, as a Fulbright student (non-degree studies in the field of Economics). She obtained her Ph.D. on Thesis "The idea of a New Europe – new policies and Financial Perspective 2007-2013" at the Economic Institute – "St. Cyril and Methodius" University in 2008.

She has working experience of 16 years (1993 – 2009), starting at the State Statistical Office of the Republic of Macedonia, continuing as a civil servant in the Government of the Republic of Macedonia (Sector for European Integration) and working for T-Mobile Makedonija AD Skopje (financial department). In the late 2008, she was employed as an Assistant Professor at the First Private University, European University – Skopje.

During her studies and work, she participated on a lot of study-visits in different countries (England, France, Denmark, Italy, Switzerland, Belgium, Luxemburg, Estonia, Croatia, Latvia, Greece), on many conferences, work groups, meetings with her own presentations and works. Also, she is an author of two handbooks in the field of Marketing, "Marketing Communications" and "Marketing Management of Procurement".
