The Faculty of Informatics at the European University started working in the 2005/2006 academic year and produced its first graduates in June 2008.
The Faculty has been accredited for the 3+2 program. After finishing the first cycle of studies, lasting three years, students can move on to the second cycle of studies, which takes two years.
All the programs are designed according to the ECT System so that students from other 3+2 program faculties can attend them as well.
The Faculty has only one department – Software Engineering.
Aspiring to further broaden students’ knowledge in computer science, the organizing and operating of a third cycle of studies – PhD studies, imposed itself as a logical succession to the first and the second cycle.
The third cycle of studies organized by the Faculty of Informatics lasts three years.
