

Saso Gelev was born on August 20, 1966 in Probishtip. He attended and finished his primary education at his birth place. From 1981 till 1985 he was a student of the military high school in Belgrade. He graduated at the military academy at the department of Anti-aircraft defense in Rajlovac, Bosnia and Herzegovina. He finished his master degree in 2002 at the Faculty of electro technical engineering at the University St Cyril and Methodius in Skopje in the field of automatics and system engineering. He finished his PhD in 2008 at the Faculty of electro technical engineering and information technologies in Skopje, under the mentorship of Prof. d-r Georgi Dimirovski.
Between 1996 and 2002 he worked as an junior assistant, and since 2002 as an assistant at the Military Academy “General Mihajlo Apostolski-Skopje”. From 2001 to 2004 he worked as a researcher on the project “Development and implementation of algorithms for leading, navigation and control of moving objects”.
Since June 20th, 2008 he is an assistant professor at the Faculty of informatics at the European University-Republic of Macedonia.
He has published papers in home and international magazines, as well as in proceedings of international symposia.
From 2001 to 2004 he worked as a researcher on the project “Development and implementation of algorithms for leading, navigation and control of moving objects”.
From 2010 he works on the TEMPUS project JPGR 511342 – iKnow. The project will last 2 years .
He teaches following courses: Computer tools, Internet technologies, Operation systems, Computers networks and Project management.
