Curiculum

The Faculty of Law at EURM, Skopje has its own tradition in the appropriate department of the former Faculty of Social Sciences. The suggested study programme encompasses the needs of RM for such human resources, as well as the needs to coordinate the responsibilities given from The Bologna Declaration for tertiary Education, as a condition to join the EU. The objective of the study is a contemporary educational process. The programme has been created according to Bologna Standards for organising the education process according to 3+2 model. The aim of this study is to enable double degree teaching, credit system, practical work with the students, continuous assessment, three exam sessions and partial exams. All of the suggestions related to the studies are offered according to the levels planned (3 years general studies and then the planned study within the framework of the two successive years).According to the Bologna Declaration and EKTS, the teaching would be conducted in compulsory and elective subjects which have their own codes and are distributed in different semesters. each of them carries certain number of credits, 30 credits for one semester and 60 for the whole year, meaning that at the end there are 180 credits, and for all 5 years 300 credits are needed. Not only regular faculty will take part in the teaching process, visiting teachers will also contribute to it. The students will visit appropriate institutions and will have compulsory educational seminars , and there will be compulsory practice work (applied programme). There are credits for the practice work as well.
