Biography

Simeon Cvetanovski, PhD, was born on 08.02.1944 in v.Zurce, Demir Hisar. After he has finished the primary education, he completes the  Teacher’s  Studies in Bitola in 1963, and then he graduates from the Faculty of Pedagogy in Bitola in 1966. In 1970 he enrolls at the Law Faculty  in Skopje, and he graduates from it, too, in 1975 . As a Bachelor of Law with a completed judiciary exam in 1977 he has been elected to do the function a public defending counsel  in Bitola. He has presented his Master of Art thesis at The Law Faculty in Skopje in 1985 with a title “Time as a legal fact for acquiring and termination of property’s rights. He acquires the right to the title MA in civil law. He presents his PhD thesis at The Law Faculty in Blagoevgrad on 13.11. 2007 on the topic: “Deadlines as a legal fact in the civil law comparative legal showing of the Macedonian and Bulgarian civil right” and he acquires the title PhD in civil and family law.

Work Experience

As a lawyer he has worked as a legal counselor in the Association of Labour Union in Bitola, he was a manager of the printing company “Kiro Dandaro” in Bitola, he is a president of the Society for Science and art in Bitola, and afterwards he has been elected a secretary and a member  of the executive council at the Primary Court in Bitola until 2008. After that he is a professor at  Faculty of Law Studies at the First Private European University – Republic of Macedonia.

Science and Research

He has taken part in several seminars, professional counseling and symposiums etc from the area of law. He has published works in the magazine “Lawyer”, articles for the Society of Science and art in Bitola and etc. He has published several articles like: The obsolescence of the demands in the law of succession, Expropriation of the randy buildings, Preclusive deadlines in civil Law, The Time as a legal fact in acquiring the property’s rights, Deadlines in the Law of Obligations of R. Macedonia, Ways of acquiring and obsolescence of the ownership right, Deadlines in the Civil Law of R. Bulgaria etc.
