

He was born on 13.12.1955 in village Rastoica, Krusevo. He graduated from the Faculty of Political Sciences at the University in Belgrade on 4.10.1977 and he got his B.A. degree in Politics, department of journalism. He got his Master’s degree at the Institute of Sociological and Political and Juridical Research in Skopje and obtained the title of M.A. in Political Sciences. In 1995 he presented his PhD thesis on the topic of “The Relationship between the Political System and the ICT System, with a Special Focus on the ICT System of the Republic of Macedonia”, at the Faculty of Law at “Ss. Cyril and Methodius” University in Skopje and he got the scientific degree of PhD in Political Sciences.
Starting from 1980 he was involved in the interdisciplinary journalism
studies at the Skopje University, first as an assistant professor and
then (in the period between 1985 and 1997) as a professor. In 1997 he
was elected associate professor in Theory and Practice of Journalism.
With this title in the period between 1997 and 2006 he gave lectures,
consultations and held exams at the Postgraduate Studies in
Communication at the Institute of Sociological, Political and Juridical
Research in Skopje on the subject of “Macedonian Information and
Communication Systems”. He was a mentor and a member of committees for
defending master’s thesis in the field of communication sciences.
He has published 20 significant scientific and research papers, about
100 thematic studies which refer to the relationship between the
political sphere and other social fields, as well as 10 brochures
related to ethics and safety in road traffic. He headed over 100
research projects, such as: public opinion polls in the Republic of
Macedonia, research in the organizational set-up of the local
self-government in the country, the relationship between media and
elections, communicativeness of phenomena in the sphere of culture.
