International students

Enrollment procedure

The first step in your admission at EURM is the recognition of your high-school degree in Macedonia. This procedure takes about 2-3 weeks, and a positive outcome is expected.

Macedonian Ministry of Education requires the following list of documents for the nostrification (recognition) of your high-school diploma:

·  High-school diploma/certificate (original)

·  Notification/Transcript of results for every year at the high-school (original)

·  Application form, which can be obtained from the Macedonian Ministry of Education

·  Birth certificate

Alternatively, you can send us copies of the above mentioned documents via email or fax, and we shall start the nostrification procedure. You will be issued with provisional nostrification subject to providing the original documents when you arrive in Macedonia. Upon receipt of your documents, our Department for International Students will contact the relevant Macedonian authorities regarding the above procedure.

After a successful enrollment at EURM, you can apply for a student visa at any Macedonian Embassy, which will take additional 2-3 weeks.

Macedonian Ministry of Internal Affairs indicates that international students enrolled at the European University are eligible for Macedonian visa.

Here is the list of required documents:

·  Valid passport

·  A letter from European University certifying that the applicant is enrolled as a full-time student

·  A letter from the police in your home country that there are no records of criminal convictions, and that there are no current court proceedings against the applicant

·  A rental agreement for an apartment in Macedonia (EURM can organize this for you)

·  Application Form No. 2 which can be obtained from a Macedonian Embassy

·  A copy of the Faculty programme (which will be sent to you by EURM)
